Your Privacy Rights: Deletion ("Right to Delete/Erasure")

Identity Verification

- Request limited additional info to match against our records

What We Delete (and What We May Retain)
Upon verification, we delete/de-identify personal information we hold that is not subject to an exception, including:

- Content you provided (where not needed for legal/security reasons)
We may decline or partially fulfill a request where deletion is not required or is incompatible with:

- Debugging or repairing intended functionality
- Exercising or defending legal claims; complying with legal, tax, or audit obligations

Examples of retained data (minimum necessary): tax/transaction records, fraud/security logs, backup archives, and audit trails.
Timeline and Confirmation

Backups & Third-Party Processors
- Deletion propagates to our service providers/processors where applicable.
- Backups are purged on a rolling schedule; deleted items are removed upon routine overwrite (typical window up to 30–90 days, depending on the system).
Frequency & Limits
- California residents may make two free deletion requests in any 12-month period.
- We may refuse excessive, repetitive, or unfounded requests as allowed by law.
Appeals (Where Required by Law)
If we deny your request and you reside in a jurisdiction with an appeal right (e.g., CO/CT/VA), you may appeal within 30 days by emailing support@stacksite.io with the subject "Data Deletion Appeal." We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Non-Discrimination
